On January 4th, late in the night — well, early morning we were graced with a double drop from the finesse King, Bruno Mars. The track for the "Finesse" [Remix] ft. Cardi B was dropped for purchase and streaming on all platforms, but Bruno Mars was feeling saucy and it did not end there.

So of course, in the name of feeling saucy, the official music video for "Finesse" [Remix] was released too. The video is a tribute to one of Bruno Mars’ favorite TV shows of all time, comedy sketch series, In Living Color.
The video is just pure fun, showing Bruno Mars and Cardi B having fun while dancing, painting, and just fooling around. The dancing is pretty dope actually, the choreography is something I found myself trying to learn after watching the video for the first time — out of 100 times so far. In the words of Bruno Mars, “[They definitely] shut the sh*t down on site”. The video being a tribute to In Living Color, makes sense to me actually. I expected some type of 90’s aesthetic because the beat and composition of the original version of “Finesse” gave me that vibe. The remix is just honestly, the universe dropping a much appreciated New Year’s gift of good vibes. Though many people are very judgmental of Cardi B, and her success I find her very refreshing. She killed it in 2017 and she is starting 2018 off right with the ultimate finesse! Check out the “Finesse” [Remix] below.
